Today the Ring team discussed about the 2017 roadmap for Ring and we want to share our thoughts and major goals with the community.Thank you Adrien for the update. Are you able to post your roadmap online [...] or at: https://ring.cx/en/news ?1. This would be helpful as people who are not on the address@hidden mailing list could still read your roadmap.2. This would also be good for journals who would like to write an article about your wonderful program.
Yes, +1, I think putting the roadmap and news online is really important for the health of (any) project.
Doing that takes *effort*. Not a huge amount, but not everyone wants to take time away from what else they are doing. So, just a thought...

File transfer There is ongoing work in the daemon to implement file-transfer. Our current (ambitious) goal is to have file-transfer implemented in clients by the end of the year. What is the tuleap ticket for 'File transfer'? This would enable interested people to add themselves to this ticket and as it is implement to test it. We wish you success on your (ambitious) goal.
I agree: I think it is useful to open a ticket for each significant feature on the roadmap, so that there is a central point for each feature where anyone can go to find out about it or contribute to it.
