Hi
under http://www.openisis.org/ there is a Java package
to access the ISIS database, which is mostly used for
bibliographic data (ISO2709, Z39.50) but also very well
suited for other catalogues due to it's very flexible
indexing mechanism.
By now, there is only a native JNI implementation,
but the C-code is designed to be well portable to Java.
