Hello,
As an exercise in reverse engineering and Java programming, I converted the
GNU program "units" (unit conversions) to Java. It is now at the stage of a
working prototype. A possible further development would be to make it into
an applet.
I would like to cotribute the final result to GNU, but have these questions:
1. Where to find standards for coding, packaging, Java package names,
directories etc.? (The standards at
http://www.gnu.org/prep/standards_toc.html do not mention Java and are
mainly oriented at C.)
2. How do you actually contribute a Java program to GNU?
I already asked these questions to address@hidden, but did not get any answer
yet; perhaps this address is the right one...
Best regards
