Just a reminder that this bug still isn't completely fixed.  It works in some
cases:  If the reserved item has not been marked 'waiting,' the override will
take place successfully (although the resulting issue will have no due date).

It fails when the item has already been marked waiting.  The old loop and 'error
-1' still happens.
