Ahh there should be a switch for ethnicity, so that for libraries like HLT (its 
perfectly 
valid to collect ethnicity data in New Zealand) can use it. 
But libraries in the US where this data is more sensitive can switch this field 
off. 
 
As for the joining branch, im not sure, ill take a look
