[Koha-devel] z3950 woes (three of them)

Hi everyone,
Ok...I know the z3950 questions have been beaten to death...but...

I have three questions:

1.  on the wiki and on the release notes it only mentions editing the z3950-daem
on-launch.sh file...however, I believe that the other file (z3950-daemon-shell.s
h)also contains two lines that need to be edited...I think the standard director
ies will be:
KohaZ3950Dir=/usr/local/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/z3950
KohaModuleDir=/usr/local/koha/intranet/modules/
is this right?  If so I am willing to change the documentation to reflect the ex
act steps that need to be taken to get the scripts configured corectly.
2.  When I do try to run the daemon (invoke from the z3950daemon dir as ./z3950-
daemon-launch.sh) I get the following error:
ha:/usr/local/koha/intranet/scripts/z3950daemon# ./z3950-daemon-launch.sh
koha:/usr/local/koha/intranet/scripts/z3950daemon# Unknown id: apache

then the cursor does not bring me back to a prompt so I assume that the shell is
 running...but surely the error is a problem.  This brings me to my third questi
on:
3.  Is there a way to use the z3950 client?:)...there does not appear to be a se
arch tool on the default template in the acquisitions section...is there a comma
nd line way to test it?
