Stupid mysql. Is sprintf("%06.2f\n",$dewey) simple enough, or is it a
problem with how many places Dewey is displayed? (Inspired by man
perlfaq4)
Maybe making it character would help LC support, though. Maybe even
the same search range theory could work with both, but I forget the
specifics of SQL character fields and range operators.
