My apologies that I have not had more time to devote to the MySQL version
but a few things have got in my way of late.  I also really badly need a
big dataset to test it on.  It was diabolically slow on first test but I
suspect there was something wrong.  Until I can reproduce the slowness on a
machine of my own I can't really address it properly.
