C API for X.2?

Hi,

has anyone already thought about a C API for the
X.2 (C++) spec? Maybe the l4ka team has already
_defined_ such an API? If not, could we agree
on a set of C function names and data types
that would naturally fit X.2? I'd hate to
see multiple differing #defines emerge here...
