The 0.78.1 release builds a broken version.h that then cannot be used by
either xine or VLC, see https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=153352 .
A 0.78.2 release might be worth now :) (Rocky fixed it already in CVS I've
seen, although I've changed the sed into cut as that's more reliable between
OSes).
