This is a question posted to the reddit.com/r/linux discussion for the
latest news out of libreboot[1], and I decided to bring it to your
attention here

It is not originally asked by me, but I share this question. I believe I
have one desktop board that could be a viable target, but I have no
technical aptitude to attempt it own my own.
