Woah! definitely interested.
If you can manage to make it $50 exactly, (or at least not hit $60) and make it twice as powerful as the Pi, even the SAME power as the Pi, I (and plenty of people who don't even know about software freedom) would definitely get some. And if you throw a pin bus in there with latency/bus speed similar to the Arduino, then doubly so - its two DIY boards in one! > Message: 3 > Date: Sat, 05 Dec 2015 21:20:19 -0500 > From: Julien Kyou <julien@thisyear.me> > To: libreplanet-discuss@libreplanet.org > Subject: [libreplanet-discuss] Freedom respecting SBC? > Message-ID: <5DAD4DC0-4A94-4FC0-907E-34DE2E03F9DE@thisyear.me> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA512 > > I am in a position to make a 'Truly Freedom Respecting' Single-Board-Computer. > It would probably cost around 50 to 100$ (I'm want it at least twice as powerful as a pi), and GPIO pins making it a good Pi alternative. > I Have no specs (or other details) for it yet, I am just wondering how much interest there is (beyond myself of course). |
