At least in Brazil, people can use either IRPF Livre, or Declara:
- IRPF-Livre: [[http://www.fsfla.org/~lxoliva/snapshots/irpf-livre/2016/]].
- Declara: [[http://git.cascardo.info/?p=cascardo/declara.git;a=summary]].
The Brazilian Government, however, still continues to recommend non-free
personal tax declaration software.
If I remember correctly, one of these can send the tax declaration
directly to the government, although I don't know which one.
