Interesting. As an incentive for occasional contributers to write their
own ChangeLog entry, I have long used the From Patch Author
<address@hidden>, if I've had to write the ChangeLog entry myself. I
think it is quite a nice convention :-(
Should I stop doing that, and change the HACKING note to explain that
what is currently documented there is how to read ChangeLog.2004 or
earlier, and defer to the GCS?
