The CVS versions of autoconf and automake define @datadir@ in terms of
$datarootdir. This breaks branch-1-5 libtoolize. I checked in the
backward-compatible fix below.
branch-2-0 and HEAD use Makefile variables for updating libtoolize and
thus do not need manual update for this.
BTW, did libtool-commit messages break again with the last savannah
upgrade (my branch-1-5 commit messages are sent by the commit script
here, but the other branches' commits from yesterday have not seen
messages yet)?
