New issue 2461 by address@hidden: left-aligned Lyrics are shifted to
the right
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2461
Currently a left-aligned lyric syllabe doesn't have its left edge flush
with left-edge of parent note.
At first i thought that it's because the syllabe is aligned to the middle
of the stem, and that font serifs make the results look even worse (in my
opinion they shouldn't be included in syllabe alignment - for example, a
left-aligned letter l should have its stem aligned exactly with stem of a
downstem note). However, a test with sans-serif font showed that serifs
actually don't play any part here.
