Updates: Status: StartedComment #1 on issue 2557 by address@hidden: alignAboveContext was removed from the NR
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2557One example where alignBelowContext is useful (although not strictly essential) is given by http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-user/2012-05/msg00429.html. This is a fairly complex example, and maybe a simple ossia would suffice - the principle is the same. In fact there are already two examples of alignAboveContext for ossia, one in LM 3.1.3 and one in NR 1.6.2, so maybe it would be enough to just index these. But I think it would be better to explain the principle in NR 5.1.7, ref these two places, and possibly add the example in the message above to the Vocal section - Lyrics and repeats in NR 2.1.2.
