http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2733@ Graham. Well, strictly, it looks like lilypond is not immediately causing the problem, nor is it calling GhostScript. It's ps2pdf that is throwing the error, albeit on a file originated by lilypond-book. It may be that getting ps2pdf to use GS 8.70 would fix the problem, though?
