New issue 3284 by address@hidden: articulation vertical positions
shouldn't be quantized so strictly
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=3284
In the attached examples articulations attached to different notes are
never on the same level vertically.
Lilypond currently places articulations only in the middle of staffspaces,
which leads to visual "stairs" - articulations on different notes have the
same vertical position. Of course articulations shouldn't be placed on
stafflines, but their positions should be more flexible. At least there
should be an option to change this behaviour.
