http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=704I agree concerning the non-symmetrical look of the tremolo bars. My preference would be for them to be symmetrically placed between the notes, unless it's really a lot simpler to view semi-breves as having stems for the purposes of tremoli.
