Now with David's suggestion for a more-flexible interface to the Scheme
function that adjust the behavior regarding scale-factor of the split
notes. I changed the documentation, so I should ask for a new patchy-run
on the docs.
The patch adds a line to those same two tests (but Patchy doesn't report a
change because the patch leaves the old parts of those test unchanged.)
