The patch for issue 4204 makes it not too difficult for a user to define an  
idiosyncratic time signature style.  I have requested feedback on 4204 from  
the person who originally requested that 4/2 be printed as a single cut-C,  
but I have not received any.  The feedback from others on the single-C  
style was lukewarm.  Considering all this, I think it would be best to  
remove the single-C time signature style and let people rely on defining  
their own styles with markup.
