I'm currently writing some example excerpts of Brahm's violino concert
for the diploma thesis of a friend. There is one example that is really
giving me headaches: measures 332-337 of the first movement. An example
scan from an old edition is attached. As you can see, there is a slanted
trill spanner with accidentals to indicate pitched trills.
The recent skyline improvements don't seem to have any effect on the
slanted spanner, as all the accidentals are placed way too high up, as
if the spanner wasn't rotated at all.
Attached is my current code hightlighting that problem. Any idea how I
can have lilypond automatically place the accidentals and the tempo mark
at the proper position?
The other problem is that so far I have to manually hardcode the
rotation, which will break if I want to create two versions (one with
ragged-right to insert into the text of the thesis, and one without
ragged right for the appendix, where all music samples are listed). Any
idea how to get the spanner automatically rotated?
Thanks,
Reinhold
