Trivial omission on my side, I did not expect that someone would try use 
relative paths. Don't use '..' in arguments #1 and #2. Both of the folllowing 
commands should work:

   ~/bin/gubllb ~/gub ~/lilypond-git dev/gub-test

   ~/bin/gublib /home/harm/gub /home/harm/lilypond-git dev/gub-test
