Actually, my Patchy state is already up to date, so it would have to
appear to have been my Patchy.

So at least my Patchy was fine with that.  Details of my setup: using
Guile-1.8 libraries and Guile-2.2 binary, and /usr/bin/python is a
symbolic link to /usr/bin/python2 .

That's all I can think of right now.
