I would be interested in helping this happen... ebooks (and ePub
specifically) have been a central part of my career.
Resizeable music notation would be extremely difficult. However,
generating one-measure graphics embedded in HTML so that lines can be
re-wrapped as appropriate for a device, handling whitespace with CSS,
and generating all text as HTML could be a viable approach.
It might be possible to hijack some of the lilypond-book code to make
that happen... not sure. I’m just musing “aloud” and would love to see
others’ thoughts on it, too.
