AFAIR, \PianoStaff \remove "Keep_alive_together_engraver" is the same as
\GrandStaff . And \RemoveEmptyStaves \override
VerticalAxisGroup.remove-first = ##t is the same as
\RemoveAllEmptyStaves .
So it's more like you want
