Thanks for reminding me about lilypond-book. I actually tried using it at first, but I ended up trying out the alternative, lyluatex (https://lilypond.org/doc/v2.24/Documentation/usage/luatex), which I ended up sticking with because something about the former didn’t agree with TeXShop. As I am relatively new to LaTeX, it might have been that something I did on that end wasn’t agreeing with the end result. I will probably give it another try during the upcoming winter break!
