Hello,We found *why* this issue arises, and it is linked to the OPUS codec.Opus requires 48khz for full wideband working, which is the frequency we ask the audio unit to provide us.We also ask the hardware sampler to tune this frequency, but in the case of some low-end bluetooth sets, this high frequency messes up the transmission of sound in the earpiece. We're looking at a solution to not hint the hardware sampler when we detect bluetooth, but is is a bit complicated. The temporary solution is not to use Opus when in bluetooth.Cheers,On Tue, Jun 24, 2014 at 2:43 PM, Luiz Silva <address@hidden> wrote:Hello Guillaume,

Hello Luiz,We get some reports of failing bluetooth as well, this is strange. We'll try to look at it.Regards,On Wed, Jun 18, 2014 at 4:26 PM, Luiz Silva <address@hidden> wrote:Hello Luis,I'm having the same issue with the bluetooth but it only happen on the iPhone 5s. The same code works on the iPhone 4s.The only issue I have on the iPhone 4s is a big delay (around 10s) when switching from/to bluetooth while the call is running.
Now the no audio on the bluetooth on the 5s is a mystery as I don't see any error messages.I hope someone can help us.On Wed, Apr 30, 2014 at 6:09 PM, Luis Soltero <address@hidden> wrote:

Hello All,
I am having issues with bluetooth headeset support when compiling linphone for iOS using sources from the git repository.
bluetooth headsets work perfectly when using the version of linphone in the itunes store. I notice that the version published in itunes is 2.1.2 core 3.6.99-211-gdf6e200
while the version compiled from the sources is
core 3.7.0-217-g1d7d5f4
So here is what i have tried...
1. in an empty directory
git clone git://git.linphone.org/linphone-iphone.git --recursive
2. followed the instructions in the read me to the letter
3. changed the bundle identifier to match our certificate
4. massaged the code signing and provisioning profiles to make xcode happy.
no code changes were made.
here are the exact symptoms...
1. bluetooth headset is paired to the phone
2. latest linphone is run
3. the key pad tones are heard when they are pressed
4. call goes through and audio is no longer available through the headset
5. pushing the speaker button during the call allows you to select speaker... Audio can the be heard.
6. pushing the speaker button again and selecting bluetooth yields silence
again... the itunes store version does not have this issue.
Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated.
