list items in table

Hello, all !

I'm not able to insert longer list items in a cell in 
table, when the table has more than one column.
(see attached lout file). Lout 3.25 gives the error message:

lout file "tbl.lt":
    14,2: component too wide for available space
     7,1: too little horizontal space for galley @Disp at 
@Galley

However, it seems that outside a cell, and in one-column 
tables a list item can be virtually arbitrary long.

Could one of you explain?
