[Ltib] screen in ltib?

Are there any plans for porting screen to the ltib environment?  I have 
been playing around with the gnu screen source, and the configure script 
does not play well with a cross compiled environment.  I have found that 
the old way to get it to work correctly is disable the bugs in the 
configure script and to hand edit the Makefile.  Perhaps there is a more 
friend version of screen around, but I have not found it yet.
