Hi Tobi,
I've not seen that. What terminal emulator are you using? I use
minicom.
Also it sounds as though it may be related to your locale (possibly).
Can you try for test purposes to do (on your host before starting
minicom):
$ export LANG=en_GB
and see if this makes any difference.
