Hi folks,
For fun I tried ltib on my Debian host today. I was told
(http://www.bitshrine.org/) that it doesn't need root, but
first thing it did was complaing about missing sudo, and
next it claimed to need root permission without password(!)
to run rpm. That rang all alarm bells.
What is the story here? Will it put my root partition at
risk by installing foreign RPMs? Is there some way to use
fakeroot instead?
Regards
Harri
