Hi Robert,
The Savannah version is currently 8.1.2 (./ltib --version).
The 6.2.2 version is the last tarball I've made an uploaded, which is
pretty old. I've been remiss in not updating this. However, if you can
use the CVS install, that will work best as this tends to be stable due
to the way it gets periodically merged out.
The introduction document was based on a later version and should still
provide a good introduction. If you want to see what has been added,
you can browse the changelogs in the CVS version (they're under the doc
directory: LtibMergesFromFSL*
