[Ltib] Trying to build in libgpg-error and libgcrypt fo vpnc

Has anyone attempted to add vpnc and all the dependencies (ie. libgpg-error and libgcrypt) to ltib.  I have been struggling with building the dependencies for a while now and cant get past the make install phase for libgpg-error and linking libgcrypt.  I gave up with make install and just copied the files manual after it failed to the rootfs but I now get complaints from gcc when it tries to extract links for functions from libgpg-error.so.  Any input would be helpful.
