I'm using the IMX35 PDK board with L2.6.28_4.5.1_SDK_IMX35 package. I would like to be able to use USB keyboard to input text on terminal on my target that is running Gnome.
I added USB support and HID support into the kernel and when I plug the keyboard I got:
input: USB Keyboard as /class/input/input1
generic-usb 0003:04D9:1503.0001: input,hidraw0: USB HID v1.10 Keyboard [ USB Keyboard] on usb-fsl-ehci.0-1/input0
input: USB Keyboard as /class/input/input2
generic-usb 0003:04D9:1503.0002: input,hidraw1: USB HID v1.10 Device [ USB Keyboard] on usb-fsl-ehci.0-1/input1
usbcore: registered new interface driver usbhid
usbhid: v2.6:USB HID core driver
So I suppose that USE & HID support is ok.
I changed console to display on tty0 instead of serial port and that is working also, I can see dmesg on my LCD.
With all that, my keyboard is still not working on my target, maybe I need to configure Gnome to trap event from HID but I don't know how.
