[lwip-users] ideas for SNMPv3 agent |

Hi,
Currently I'm putting some ideas to paper about
the architecture and design of the lwip SNMPv3 agent.
I would like to keep things Simple, e.g. no MIB file parsing,
but I do want runtime (un)registration of variable bindings in
the mib-2 and private mibs. (in a multiway tree?)
The actual variables can be stored externally for
private MIBs, so there should be some sort of hooks
for retrieving this data.
These hooks might drive a state machine, or simply
read from local memory or registers.
(We have an application with a microcontroller running lwip
connected to other controllers using a serial line.)
As mentioned earlier I want to use the raw API,
and the agent should be able to run without an OS.
Additional ideas and comments are welcome..
