The optimum values will vary from project to project depending on what
sort of traffic pattern you expect and what sort of hardware you have.
I think some sensible good values for performance should be in the lwip
wiki (http://lwip.scribblewiki.com if I remember rightly) but
unfortunately it doesn't work for me from here so I can't check.
