Just because they are private doesn't mean you can use them.

Does anyone know the advantages/disadvantages of public/private Ethernet 
addresses?
Apparently you have to pay IEEE $1000.00 every year to keep your Ethernet 
addresses private.

10:00:00:XX:XX:XX is private space.

There are others if you flip through the file.
