So - what does it take to make Lynx accept input from stdin?
A few simple changes, one more option, or a complete new rewrite?

Yes this is a FAQ. Many benighted Un*x natives tend to ask this
question. There are two levels of answer:
1. No, it doesn't do that; here's the workaround.

2. No, we aren't interested in doing that;
the minor improvement in the batch use of the program
is not worth the effort; there are important things
to work on.
