LYNX-DEV Little problem - missing (?) feature |

Hi everyone!
This only matters for non-html files where a helper application is specified,
e.g. images. Let's assume we have a link <a href=".../pic.gif"> foo </a>.
When activated, this picture will be diplayed with the helper application.
So far that's fine. Unfortunately the server sends an unreasonable
Expires: Header. Therefore only an old version from the proxy's cache
will be downloaded. With an 'ordinary' html-file I can just hit ^R to reload
with bypassing the cache. This doesn't work with such a picture.
At least I didn't find an appropriate key with 'K'.
That reminds me of another 'luxury feature' am dreaming about : a toggle to
switch the proxies on and off during a lynx-session...
Thanks for the good work on lynx!
