This is possible, but it will cost money. Specifically, good DOS X servers
cost money. It may be slow, but it should work. (I had a similar
situation, but with fewer clients, and was able to get it working quite
well. Ask if you want details.) Basically, any 386 or 486 with 2 or more
megs of RAM, 40 or more megs of disk, and a network card that has a packet
driver can be set up as an X terminal.
