lynx-dev thoughts on xhtml 1.0 ? |

what are peoples thoughts on xhtml 1.0 ? Is this yet another temporary blip
as has HTML 2.x, 3.x, 4.x, that will go away shortly, or is this something
that lynx needs to support in the relatively near (ie less than 2 years)
future?
Will xhtml, with its more structured description, result in better code
for lynx?
Should this be taken as the opportunity to create a new tool, with goals
similar to lynx, but based on the w3c's current libwww and supporting
xhtml as its primary emphasis, with error handling to turn older html into
something acceptable as a fallback position?
Just curious about your thoughts.
