I'd send an email to Ian explaining that the relevant person(s)
would like to represent the Lynx development team, preferably
with some references to back up the validity of the claim.

The public mailing list, where most of the discussion takes
place, is open to everyone. Lynx has come up every so often
in peoples' arguments, but I'm sure the people here would
have much more useful comments about it. ;)
