Lynx works on WinXP, but it is usually installed manually. There is an
installer available, however, if you want, but I don't know how well it
works. For the best directions on downloading and
installing in Windows, see Kenneth Kwok's page at
"http://home4.pacific.net.sg/~kennethkwok/lynx/index.html". Where the
page talks about modifying Autoexec.bat to set environment variables,
in WindowsXP you should instead set the environment variables via
"Control Panel/System/Advanced/Environment Variables".
If you don't already know how to use lynx, read the User Guide that is
installed with lynx, then read through the lynx.cfg file to see what
options are available.
