That indeed, but I think it may not be enabled by default in the lynx.cfg
delivered and installed by default… ISTR I had to patch that.
yes, that's right. (but he doesn't have to recompile lynx to do that).
The usual (non-Windows) configuration information is compiled in, so he
can inspect the feature by going to
o (options menu)
go to the end, follow the "lynx.cfg" link
follow the "compile time options" link
/persis (search for persistant options)
I see a line like this - which indicates to me that the feature is
compiled-in:
USE_PERSISTENT_COOKIES 1
