You mean suggestions for people that want to try this patch?  Or web
servers that use digest authentication to test it against?

The former, just apply that patch and try using it; it should Just Work.

The latter ... not sure.  I think any modern web server can make use of
digest auth; I needed it for some networking gear we have (although due
to some issues with form submission, I still couldn't get lynx to do with
it exactly what I needed).
