This whole business of all GUI user agents being Mozilla, and
identifying the real agent in the comment, came about because of web
servers being configured to discriminate against older browsers.
The comments people make about forging the user agent is that if
browsing statistics never show Lynx, web site developers will conclude
that no-one uses it, so they can happily continue to write Ecmascript
applications that only run on the main GUI browsers.

RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam,
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
