yes - I put it together from mirrors and backups.  Currently my local
backup has all of the stuff that's web- or ftp-visible, plus the 
source/build tree, so it would be more straightforward to restore it
if the server died again.

as I recall it, it's been around since the late 1990s, around the time
lynx was still hosted on slcc
