unsure - I did a search to see which version you might be referring to:
"lynx_32" seems to be from a zip-file, quite a while ago.
(if that's right, then "lynx -version" would show something like 2.8.1
or 2.8.2).
The zip-file wouldn't have done anything with the registry,
and could be removed by just deleting the files.
